From 27th to 30th October, the Uljana Semjonova basketball Cup will take place for the tenth time, where U-15 and U-17 girls’ teams will fight for victory from four countries - Latvia, Estonia, Slovakia, and Hungary.
Teams from following countries will participate in the age group of born 2006 and 2008: Riga Children and Youth Sports School “Rīdzene” (Latvia), BJBS “RĪGA/Centrs/TTP” (Latvia), BJBS “RĪGA/CENTRS” (Latvia), SK “Audentes” (Estonia), “Young Angels Academy” (Slovakia) and “Darazsak Sportacademy” (Hungary).
Everyone interested is invited to attend the competition at the sports base "Daugavas sporta nams" (Krišjāņa Barona iela 107) and at the sports base "Rīdzene" (Krishjāņa Barona iela 97C) of the children's and youth basketball school "Rīga", where from October 27 to 29 the teams will play group stage games, but the finals will take place on October 30.
On the official website of the tournament, www.ulacup.lv, it is already possible to view the rules and schedule of this year's competition, as well as to find information about the course of previous years' competition. In cooperation with the Latvian Basketball Association, it is planned to provide the text broadcast of all games.
Attending the competition is free and competition are supported by the Riga City Council.
